Diane started working in public accounting when she was very young (about 35 years ago) and has only worked for CPA firms her entire life. She started as a part-time receptionist and has grown through every position a CPA firm could offer. This history and her years of experience are her greatest asset to our firm.
Diane's work history is only part of her life. In addition to her career, Diane married and raised three exceptional children. When the youngest was about to go off to college, she finally found the time to go to school and get a college degree, at the very young age, 45. Diane graduated magna cum laude from Golden Gate University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She tackled a four-year college education while working full-time at a CPA firm during multiple tax seasons. This is the dedication Diane brings to her work for our clients.
Diane prepares tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and estates. As an enrolled agent licensed to practice by the IRS Diane has successfully represented many clients with IRS audits, offers in compromise, and installment payment agreements. As our families age, and the passing of a loved one might bring unanticipated tax consequences, Diane has addressed this need by specializing in providing services to beneficiaries. These include trusts and estates, preparation of trust and estate tax returns, and fiduciary accountings. She also spends considerable time assisting with our litigation support services.
Diane is very active in her community, serving on the board of the Granite Bay Community Association for more than 10 years, as well as publishing a community newsletter. She also recently served as campaign treasurer for a local supervisor candidate.
